BRN Discusses 2025 Outlook on Money FM 89.3

BRN analyst Valentin Fournier made his second live appearance on Money FM 89.3's talk show, Wealth Tracker.

In this week's episode titled "Wealth Tracker: Which digital asset should you watch for 2025? Bitcoin? Solana? Stablecoins?" Fournier discussed BRN's 2025 outlook with host Hongbin Jeong.

Reflecting on 2024's major growth periods in March and November, Fournier reviewed which digital assets benefited the most over the year and how they set the stage for 2025.

Looking into 2025, Fournier said DeFi's TVL should continue growing after 2024's increase by 40%, as institutional interest heats up by spotlighting potential growth opportunities.

Stablecoins, which also saw a 30% growth rate last year in circulating supply are also expected to experience heightened adoption this year. Fournier explained how the boost from cross-border payments and as a hedge against volatility and facilitating liquidity in decentralized finance (DeFi) applications well benefit stablecoins.

Of course, artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the hottest topics in the tech sector, experiencing a 50% growth in market cap last year. Fournier explained how he expects the rapidly evolving tech to intersect with crypto in 2025.

Finally, Ethereum, Solana and Bitcoin continue to be staples of the crypto industry. Fournier discussed how wider adoption across the world will strength the industry in 2025 and beyond.
