Sygnum Partners Moomoo in Singapore to Offer Crypto Investment Fund
Sygnum's Singapore arm has partnered with trading platform Moomoo Singapore to distribute its Digital Asset Multi-Manager Fund (DAMMF).
Exclusively for accredited investors, the fund will be available on the Moomoo platform, marking a strategic milestone for both organizations in expanding access to digital asset investment opportunities within Singapore’s regulated environment.
The DAMMF is a multi-manager fund that focuses on diversified investments across a range of crypto hedge fund strategies. As an actively managed crypto fund, it represents an effort to bring this type of financial product to a digital investment and wealth management platform in Singapore.
Access to the fund remains limited to accredited investors. Those who qualify can subscribe to the fund through Moomoo Singapore’s relationship managers.
This partnership is also marks Sygnum's debut in distributing an asset management product through an external platform. Both Sygnum Singapore and Moomoo Singapore hold Major Payment Institution (MPI) licenses, with the latter securing theirs earlier this year.
Gerald Goh, Sygnum’s co-founder and CEO APAC, explained that DAMMF was "created to provide investors with the opportunity for long-term capital appreciation by participating in the crypto megatrend."
"By investing in DAMMF, one can expect to obtain exposure to a portfolio of broad crypto alpha sources, diversified across both strategies and managers," he added.
"At Sygnum, our mission from Day One has been to empower everyone to invest in digital assets with complete trust. This partnership with Moomoo is groundbreaking for the digital asset space and we are glad to be able to better support their clients in managing their exposure to this asset class.”
Echo Zhao, country head, Moomoo Singapore, further added that "many high net worth clients now view digital assets as a key component of a modern and resilient portfolio" and that these clients are "not just seeking diversification, but also the opportunity to capitalise on the huge growth potential of this asset class."
