HashKey Capital Singapore has announced its successful acquisition of a Capital Markets Services (CMS) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Through the license, HashKey can operate as a licensed fund management company and is permitted to provide regulated fund management services primarily involving capital markets products in Singapore.

The CMS license further enables HashKey to contribute to Singapore's local blockchain community, said Deng Chao, CEO of HashKey Capital Singapore and Head of HashKey Singapore.

"Singapore's innovative spirit aligns with our mission, and we're excited to propel blockchain-related capital markets products and investments further into the mainstream, offering new possibilities for institutional and accredited investors," he said.

The firm's achievement follows DigiFT's CMS license from MAS, which was approved earlier this month.
