Sun, Sand, NFTs – Coinfest Asia Lands at Bali’s Cafe Del Mar

The crypto community can look forward to getting a tan while sipping cocktail while hearing about the latest industry insights at Coinfest Asia, held at Cafe del Mar Bali, Indonesia on August 25-26, 2022.

The conference is an industry event organized by Coinvestasi with a focus on the future of cryptocurrencies and the web3 in Asia. Held in a festival format, Coinfest Asia aims to be a platform for crypto asset enthusiasts, industry leaders, and executives to come together and discuss to build the future of crypto assets and blockchain technology in Asia.

Delegates to the conference can hear from experienced speakers in the economy and crypto industry both local and international, such as Indonesia Vice Minister of Commerce Jerry Sambuaga, Oscar Darmawan (CEO of Indodax), Jeth Soetoyo (CEO of PINTU and the Indonesian crypto project KunciCoin), Gwendolyn Regina (BNB Chain), Karl Mohan (Crypto.com), and several ventures and banks such as BRI Ventures, True Global Ventures, Standard Chartered, and many more.

Speakers will discuss topics around regulation, the crypto industry, DeFi, GameFi, NFT, and the metaverse. There will also be ample opportunities for participants to make connections with others in the crypto community.

For the first edition of Coinfest Asia, Indonesia was chosen as the host as the country is home to 270 million – the world’s 4th largest population, with a rapid rate of crypto adoption. There are 12.4 million crypto owners in Indonesia, according to Indonesia blockchain association (ABI) data as of February 2022. In addition, as the host of this year’s G20, Indonesia aims to become a hub for digital economic transformation in Asia.

“We hope that Coinfest Asia can provide space for regulators, project makers, developers, and the community to connect with each other to open up opportunities and create innovations for the better development of the crypto industry. That way, the people of Asia, especially SEA, can get more benefits from the digital world,” said Dhila Rizqia, event lead for Coinfest Asia.
